DAP SI-4.700 4-channel install amplifier (4x 700 W)
DAP SI-4.700 4-channel install amplifier (4x 700 W)
The DAP SI-4.700 is a compact and lightweight 4-channel power amplifier for fixed installations. In a 1U rack space it delivers 4x 700 W into 4 ohms, is capable of driving 2-ohm loads and can be bridged for even more power. It is designed for low impedance and high current with excellent stability.
It has a clip limiter and DC output protection to prevent damage to the loudspeaker. Output overload and short-circuit protection protects the amplifier from faults, as does over-temperature protection and high-temperature power attenuation.
Signal, Clip, Fault and Power LEDs indicate the status of the amplifier. The output level can be adjusted for each channel using the volume controls. Gain can be set on the rear panel for 0.775 V input or 32 dB gain, and a mode switch selects stereo, mono and bridge modes.

The universal switching power supply uses active PFC and soft-switching technology, accepts input voltages from 100 - 250 V AC and is optimised for the audio power amplifier.
